This is why our blog has the word nightmare in the title.
Hofstra goes down to the A-T-L to face Georgia State. With the CAA standings bunched tighter then a clown car, Hofstra was in need of a win. Coming out on top tonight, would have set us up for prime position for the tourney next weekend. Hofstra came into action in 5th place. Drexel, same record and all, has the tiebreaker over Hofstra, so they entered tonight in the 4th spot. Seeds 1-4 get a bye in the first round. Drexel was facing a tough team in Northeastern tonight, and im sure everyone on the Pride knew that it would be a tough game for them.(maybe Cornelius Vines was'nt aware, he isnt aware of anything actually. I think he is considered a fuckin idiot by State Governments in every state minus Mass. (mass is all fucking idiots).
Hofstra was down 19 at the half, and Drexel was down 2. At this point im thinking, I hate sports.
Enter Old Dominion. They are taking care of business, like most teams do. Yes, Hofstra has the tiebreaker over them, but when they win, and we get dick slapped, that tie breaker is kicked the curb. They now have more wins.
Hofstra started the half on a 12-1 run, but then got taken to the wood shed the rest of the game. We absolutely sucked. In fact, we sucked more then Brett Favre down the stretch.

5. Drexel
6. Hofstra
You know what though? Darren Townes didnt play tonight, and he is one of the emotional leaders on this team. That is something to look forward to in Richmond. I love that dude. (no homo).
I cant wait for Richmond, just very upset with this loss. Richmond is a greaaaaaaaaaat time. 10 days baby
