Q:How awful is Jorge Posada?
A: As awful as they come
Jorge Posada, is a 4-6-3 machine. He is so much a machine, Energizer Hodings released Q2 earnings, and thanked Jorge Posada for his double play prowess. Him being a 4-6-3 machine has kept them from hitting the red.
What does Joe Girardi see in Posada? What I see is this, an old catcher, earning upwards of 10 millie a year, who has been the culprit in the NEW Yankee stadium's first wall replacement. No not from doubling off the center field wall, but the backstop had to be replaced. Yea, too many balls were getting passed Jorge, the wall was too dented, and not getting a true bounce.
This team, and its fans need Jose Molina behind the plate. Give up the bat sorta, and get the pitchers right, and the team winning again.

he's the third best catcher we have, but he starts. he is going to cost us playoff games, and games against the red ox this weekend. it's over for him. Cervelli should be splitting time with Molina. we can root for him to get a season-ending injury ...
ReplyDeleteBrett Gardner should catch.
ReplyDeleteHe'd be better than Posada.
I wish we would've made a bid for Victor 5 for 6 Martinez.
